The hovawart is a large breed of dog originating from the Black Forest in south-west Germany. This breed is typically black in colour, although other coats are possible. Well spread throughout Europe, the Hovawart's origins date back to the 13th century.

With its roots in the vast Pampa, the Uruguayan Maroon breed is extremely strong. It is a dog that is a survivor, with a long and hard story to tell. 

The bullmastiff was originally called ‘the night guardian of the game’, as it was used to catch poachers. The base group of the bullmastiff is 60% English mastiff and 40% bulldog. The breed was created at the end of the 19th century.

Butterfly dwarf rabbits have unique fur markings, which makes them popular in rabbit shows. In addition to their appearance, they are also playful, so children cannot resist their charm.

Despite its name, the New Zealand rabbit originated in the United States, specifically in California. It is descended from the New Zealand Reds, and developed from crosses of different breeds of rabbits, including Belgian hares and Flemish giants.

Known as butterfly rabbits, English spotted rabbits or English spotted rabbits, the butterfly rabbit is a breed of rabbit that is characterised by its beautiful spotted fur. The special thing about its spots is that they are distributed in a very particular way, giving this rabbit a unique appearance.

In medicine, prolapse (literally from the Latin prolabi: ‘to move out of place’) is the displacement of organs, such as the uterus, so that they descend or move out of their natural location. The term is used, for example, to refer to organs that protrude through the vagina or rectum, but it is also used in the cardiac field and in relation to the spine.

Hermaphroditism is the presence in a living being of functional reproductive organs of both sexes, male and female.
