The Bombay cat (also known as the black cat, big cat or black panther) is a breed of cat originating in the United States, developed in 1965 with the aim of achieving a miniature version of the black panther.

The Japanese bobtail (ジャパニーズボブテイル Japanīzu Bobuteiru) is a breed of domestic cat with a short rabbit-like tail, unlike other cat breeds, which have long tails. The short tail of this breed is due to a recessive gene.

The American wirehair cat is one of the newest and at the same time one of the most special breeds of our days. It is also called the American wirehaired cat and has an appearance as adorable as it is special.

The Van cat (Turkish: Van kedi; Armenian: Վանաա կատու) is a rare breed of cat. It originates from the Lake Van region of the Armenian highlands, now southeastern Turkey.

The history of the Sacred Burmese is woven with legends and myths. The breed is said to have originated in the temples of Burma (now Myanmar) several centuries ago. One of the best known legends tells that the Sacred Burmese cats were the guardians of the temples and the souls of the priests.

The Oriental cat is a breed of cat originating from Thailand. Because of its sharp profile the oriental cat has been nicknamed the greyhound of cats. It is a cat with pure, harmonious and subtle lines, with a long face and ears more open than a European cat. It has an elegant bearing, a lively temperament and great intelligence.

The neva masquerade cat is the point pattern variety of the Siberian cat, although it is now officially recognised as a breed by the International Feline Federation (FIFE). This cat was first seen in the Neva river basin of St. Petersburg, Russia. Although the Siberian cat has been the long-haired cat of Russia for centuries, it was not until the 1980's that the breeding of the colour point variety, i.e. the Neva Masquerade, was enhanced and separated from the Siberian.
