The rough collie is a well known dog breed since the 1940's and the television series “Lassie”. Representatives of this breed are considered intelligent and friendly.

The Smooth Collie is a breed of dog originally developed as a sheepdog. It is a short-haired version of the long-haired Collie or Rough Collie. Some canine associations consider the shorthair and longhair to be variations of the same breed.

Bearded Collie fans agree that anyone who doesn't know this breed has to!
