The Smooth Collie is a breed of dog originally developed as a sheepdog. It is a short-haired version of the long-haired Collie or Rough Collie. Some canine associations consider the shorthair and longhair to be variations of the same breed.

Bearded Collie fans agree that anyone who doesn't know this breed has to! Once you discover how this dog runs through the countryside with his wavy coat, the joy and energy with which he plays and, at the same time, how attentive he is to his owners' wishes, it is not easy to forget the incomparable charm of this original breed.

The border collie is a working breed of dog included in the Collie denomination. The breed originated on the border between Scotland and England as a sheepdog, mainly to work with flocks of sheep. The border collie was selected primarily to emphasise intelligence and obedience; because of this, they are one of the most popular sheepdogs today.

The Bobtail is also known as the ‘Old English Shepherd’, renowned for its extraordinary ability to lead herds, its ability to take good care of the human family and for its peculiar appearance resembling a giant-sized stuffed toy. There is one peculiarity that often delights owners of this breed, and that is his amusing habit of grouping children together when they are playing in the garden, an instinct derived from his origin as a sheepdog.

The Portuguese Shepherd is a breed of dog originating from Portugal, precisely from the mountain range from which it takes its name. In the past it was used to guide and guard different types of livestock: sheep, goats, horses, cattle and pigs.

The Polish Podhale Sheepdog (also called Tatra Shepherd) is a breed of mastiff introduced into the Tatra Mountains in southern Poland by Vlach shepherds, probably in the 14th century and used ever since as a guardian and guide of flocks.

The Polish Shepherd Dog of the plains is a lively dog that is a quick learner and enjoys training. He is a natural shepherd and watchdog. He has a very good character and is a good companion in the house, always alert. Affectionate with his loved ones, he loves to be with his owner, although at first he can be distant with strangers.
