LIST OF PROHIBITED FOODS FOR DOGS

ONIONS AND GARLIC: Both onions and garlic contain compounds that can cause damage to red blood cells in dogs, which can result in anaemia.

AVOCADO: Avocado contains a toxin called persin, which is harmful to dogs and can cause stomach upset and even respiratory problems.

COOKED BONES: Although it may be tempting to give cooked bones to dogs, they can easily splinter and cause damage to the pet's intestines or throat.

ALCOHOL: Ingesting alcohol can cause poisoning in dogs, which can result in vomiting, diarrhoea, difficulty breathing and even death.
